YouTube Streaming Built-In
Paste any YouTube link and the music plays instantly. No third-party radio services, no extra setup — just drop the link and enjoy real music in your server.
True Spatial Audio System
Sound fades naturally with distance. Full volume zone within a configurable radius, logarithmic fade as players move away, and real-time syncing every 300ms for a seamless experience across all clients.
World Interaction
Everything happens in the world. Press [E] to open and control playback, [G] to pick up the boombox. Native animations play when placing or picking up — full immersion, zero menu breaks.
Retro Custom UI
Handcrafted interface inspired by classic boombox displays. Power button with scan animation, scrolling marquee for song titles, speaker glow effects, and volume badge — nothing generic, all custom.
Full Playback Control
Play, pause, loop, adjust volume in real time, stop, or input new YouTube URLs. Owner mode for playback control, guest mode for listening — everyone stays synced instantly.

No — Nexus Boombox is fully standalone and lightweight. It works out of the box without any framework dependency.
Can multiple players hear the same boombox?
Yes. Every nearby player can see, interact with, and hear the boombox together in real time with true spatial audio based on distance.
How far can the boombox be heard?
The hearing range is fully configurable. You set the full volume radius and max hearing distance in the config — control exactly how far the sound travels.
What if the owner disconnects?
The boombox automatically removes itself from the world for all players when the owner disconnects — zero cleanup issues.
Can I use any YouTube video?
Yes — paste any valid YouTube link or video ID and it plays instantly. No restrictions on video sources.
Is it escrow protected?
