About this script
Replace generic death screens with immersive cinema. Nexus Death Screen brings a two-phase death system with cinematic camera modes, medical calls, custom UI, and seamless framework integration — exactly how serious RP should feel.
Two-Phase Death System
Unconscious first, dead after. Each phase has its own screen, timer, and logic. Players can call for help during unconsciousness while medics rush to respond — true medical roleplay in one script.
Cinematic Death Camera
Three fully configurable camera modes take over instantly: orbit (automatic atmosphere), orbit_free (player-controlled with mouse and scroll wheel), and static (fixed angle). Collision-aware, smooth transitions, zero jarring cuts.
Medical Call System
Both unconscious and dead phases support independent help calls with configurable keys, cooldowns, and max call limits. Fires public events so any ambulance script can respond and revive.
Custom UI Built From Scratch
Three visual effects switchable from config: blackout (maximum drama), minimal (clean and subtle), and vignette (cinematic edges). Every text string is fully editable — no recompile needed.
Framework-Native Integration
Built for both ESX and QBCore. Drop it in, set your framework in config, and it integrates automatically without conflicts or patches.
Third-Party Event System
Fires public client events so any script can trigger unconscious, death, or revive screens externally. Fires downstream events for scripts that need to sync state — plug into your ecosystem seamlessly.
Nexus Death Screen — Immersive Death & Unconscious System for FiveM
Generic death screens break immersion. Nexus Death Screen replaces the default experience with a fully cinematic, two-phase death system — custom UI, a real death camera, medical call system, and seamless framework integration. When a player goes down, it looks and feels like it belongs in a serious RP server.
Down isn't dead. Medics have time to respond. The camera cinematic. Every detail immersive. One script handles it all.

FAQ
Can I use this with custom ambulance jobs?
Yes — Nexus Death Screen fires public events that any ambulance script can listen to. Trigger revive with nexus_deathscreen:client:revive and the screen closes cleanly.
How long is the unconscious timer?
Fully configurable in config.lua. Set the exact time players stay unconscious before transitioning to the dead phase.
Can players call for help multiple times?
Yes, but with limits. Configure max calls per phase and cooldown time independently for unconscious and dead phases.
What happens if no medic arrives?
Players are automatically freed after a configurable force-respawn timer expires. They can also respawn on their own once the dead phase timer runs out.
Can I customize the camera angles?
Completely. Fine-tune orbit radius, pitch limits, zoom speed, mouse sensitivity, and blend-in timing — all in config.
Is it escrow protected?
Yes, this script uses CFX.re's official escrow system to protect your purchase from theft and unauthorized use.
